Canonical: https://canitide.com/legal/disclaimer/

Canitide products are sold for research purposes and are not FDA-approved drugs. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Consult a licensed veterinarian before starting any protocol. Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children.

## What the research is

The studies we cite are mostly preclinical: cell cultures and rodent models, with a small number of canine pharmacokinetic and wound studies. No controlled canine clinical trials have been completed, and the studies do not establish that any Canitide formula is safe or effective for dogs. Each citation on our Science page is marked with the model it was studied in.

## What to watch for

Stop and contact your veterinarian if your dog shows anything unusual after a dose. Please also tell us at hello@canitide.com so we can keep a record.

## Not for

Humans. Pregnant or nursing dogs. Dogs with cancer or on chemotherapy without an oncologist’s explicit sign-off. Dogs under one year.
