Peptides for senior dogs

Slower on the stairs, shorter walks, a thinner coat, a touchy stomach. The senior slowdown is several things at once, and owners run several formulas for it, one at a time.

First, your vet

A senior wellness exam with bloodwork. Thyroid, kidneys and the heart explain more "slowing down" than joints do, and each has its own treatment.

What owners use

The Senior Vitality Protocol: REPAIR for joints, VITAL for stamina, LONG for its twice-yearly ten-day cycle. Add one formula at a time, two weeks apart, so you can tell what is doing what.

Canitide products are sold for research purposes and are not FDA-approved drugs. Talk to your veterinarian before starting any protocol, and bring the dosing card.

Questions

Where do I start if I can only pick one?

REPAIR if the complaint is movement; VITAL if the dog moves fine but tires. Most owners start with REPAIR.

Is a 13-year-old too old?

Age alone is not a reason to stop; health is. Bloodwork first, then the conversation with your vet.
