Privacy policy
This policy explains what canitide.com collects and why. It is short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, shipping address, phone if you give it, your dog’s name and weight, and the items you reserve. We need these to fulfil and dose your order. We also note the link you arrived by, such as a clinic’s code, so the right clinic or partner is credited.
- Payment: we take no card details when you reserve. When you pay, payment is handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
- Waitlist and vet applications: the email and details you submit.
- Site analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not run advertising pixels. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who sees it
Our payment processor (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and email routing), our fulfillment partner (name and address on the shipping label), and our email provider for order messages.
How long we keep it
Order records for seven years for tax and guarantee purposes. Waitlist emails until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete anything not required for tax records at hello@canitide.com.
Cookies
Your cart is stored in your browser’s local storage, not a cookie. Our payment processor sets cookies on its own payment page under its policy.
